the yield rates at the major foundries is between 10%-20%. This is nowhere close to acceptable for high-volume production at reasonable cost

I wonder what die size we're talking about here? I guess at 10-20% is doesn't really matter. It's a disaster.


Maybe yields will be somewhere near close to acceptable, you know, when they actually begin high-volume production.
