Houndish dilution of stock shares with most stocks adds to the number available to the investing public decreasing volatility. It also generally decreases the amount of money per share in revenue.
This in turn is usually not very good for stock price per share.

There are many examples of stocks going through this sort of thing. Rewarding employess with options private placements among other things can contribute to dilution of a companys
shares.
