Yes, CNET was just reading off Vizio's release.

It's too bad they don't praise the P-Series more. I was considering getting one of those, but things like oversharpening and bad image processing might be dealbreakers. My eyes are very sensitive to image processing artifacts.

But hopefully, they can resolve those in future firmware releases. Instead of, as the reviewer suggests, giving the user an option to turn off sharpening entirely, they can provide a slider control to let the user choose the level of sharpening they're comfortable with. That would be the equivalent of the "peaking" adjustment in old CRT TVs.

Seems like Vizio rushed to bring the P-Series to market so it'd be in stores for the Xmas season. If the stuff they compromised on is fixable by firmware update, then they did a good job with that.

They're going to sell a ton of these TVs.
