I bought a couple hundred thousand more today, the price of a couple dozen lotto tickets. This is a lotto play, but I believe in the science. I communicated via Twitter with Dr. Victor a few months ago, who privately expressed concern about my mother's severe paralysis autoimmune condition. Here was a busy CEO--navigating two companies-who took time to express his concern and his hope in science.
This man services the wealthy elite in his private practice, as well as sports players with deep pockets, yet he wrote me a personal note.
I am well aware that a fool and his money are soon parted, but I believe in this man's vision of the future of health care science. And, I consider my investment a donation. If I have to write it off--so be it, I would have given it to a charity anyway. The deductions for losses are similar.
I am angered by YA's attempts to seize control of this science--wresting the science away from the visionary scientist.
Riding high with a buyout would be great. I have 1.5 million shares. But, seeing my mom and my friend with Alzheimer's improve would be worth every penny sans return.

Best wishes to all!
