I'd say that's one of many reasons to be concerned.

ATTBF is now an afterthought. As for this supposed blackout period, why is that something people are bringing up as an reason for...something or another?

As far I can tell, it means insiders can't buy or sell. 1. That doesn't stop anyone else from buying it which means no one wants to touch ATT with a 10-ft pole. 2. From what I've read about blackout periods, they seem to be just as likely if not more about stopping directors from dumping shares before bad news and protecting employees from that effects also. Of course, not sure if ATT has any employees other that directors, and a shiny new Investor Relations person.
