Hello everyone,

I have read this board for about 6 months, but this is my first post.
I'm a mechanical engineer working within the oil and gas industry in Europe.

I don’t have the privilege to work with the technology, but I am a firm believer in the future prospects of 3dprinting. My belief is that the primary obstacle for many big companies to take 3dprinting beyond prototyping is quality.

Quality is a prerequisite to even get started, while price and speed can improve down the road.

As a wise man once said - Quality Assurance could very well the holy grail of 3dprinting ;)
