PC market is slowing. I would guess corporate desktops and laptops might have slowed down. Lot of bad enviromental factors, inflation fears, gas prices,Iraq mess etc. could be finally affecting things. Also Vista might have put a hitch in the cycle. AMD doesn't participate in the corporate desktop/laptop market as much as intel does so they are doing fine in retail/servers/channel. But that could slow too if the economy is starting to slow down. And intel is refocusing on those 3 markets as well. I think AMD is ok for another quarter but then its gonna be a lot tougher then they are admitting...and overall I think apple made a tough intel quarter a bit better. There are some interesting opportunities for apple in servers, now that they can use Intel's superior RAS features to take a few bites out of someone like SUN:) Will be interesting to see what they do...
