Not at all, hard to state its exact significance without seeing it, but it is a good sign.

Some on here say this is dead in the water and the merger has already failed.

this shows us that it is still being worked on actively and we can still expect something to happen, the more breadcrumbs that are dropped the more we will eventually be able to see.
