Perhaps the 8-k was to get the bad news out first (on Frasier grabbing so much of the profits for himself) prior to launching some other news that will please shareholders. The "eat your vegetables first" approach.
I've said it before and I've said it again: ALL of the potential that some of us initially saw in this company remains possible. The ONLY obstacle to IDLM becoming a monster company is that one obstacle that has been there all along: Marcus Frasier. If that guy could ever figure out how to grow into his role as CEO of a public corporation, putting all the baggage behind him, then anything, and I mean anything, remains possible. There are VAST opportunities to sell branded merchandise. They can clone Datpiff. My understanding is that some or all of the work on these and other projects has already been done, with the only barrier being Marcus Frasier.
So, it all rests on the shoulders of our bizarre CEO. If he cannot step up, then he needs to use his absurdly lavish golden parachute and get the heck out of the way -- and maybe that was what the 8-k was all about. But then again, if he can step up, then he is by all accounts an amazingly brilliant guy who could lead this company to truly great things.
It is going to be very interesting to see how this develops. I'm stuck here, so I guess I have to watch the show as it unfolds.
