When can one expect some benchmark scores for an Opteron workstation? Will a $2500 1.4GHz dual Opteron workstation outperform, say, a 2.4GHz dual Xeon workstation from HP for $2300, or a 2.66GHz dual Xeon workstation from Dell for $2550? For close to the price of a 1.6GHz dual Opteron workstation, Dell and HP can offer 3.06GHz dual Xeon workstations. So I guess it depends on how badly the customer wants Boxx and AMD as the hardware inside their machine.
