A vivid imagination for such an inconsequential market phenomenon.

Microtrades happen all day long...at the high, at the low and sometimes in between. Sometimes they occur in the beginning of the trading day, sometimes at the end, and sometimes in the middle. If you watch Level II you would see this occurring all the time.

They don't mean a damned thing.

Let me repeat that for emphasis...

They don't mean a damned thing.

People have been complaining about "picasso" and tape-painting for years in this stock and every other penny stock out there. One faction of investors complains when the price is "painted" lower. Another faction of investors complains when the price is "painted" higher. It has had zero, nada, nil, zilch effect on the long term share price. If the bid and ask are .05 and .055, it doesn't matter who buys how many shares at the bid or the ask...that is the what the market commands. If you, or other market participants don't think it is fair for someone to buy a small amount at the advertised ask or sell a small amount of shares at the advertised bid, then put in a better offer to a price that you feel represents fair value.

You complained last Friday about the stock being painted up to .055 at the end of day. Meanwhile today, the stock has traded around .055 and above it on legitimate volume. But I guess evil Picasso and his brother Shorty and their buddies the evil market makers are all out to get you and I with these market shenanigans, right?...sheesh. The tape painting EOD last Friday didn't mean a damned thing.

I pointed out the ridiculousness of complaining about tape painting back when MDMN was trading in the .04 range before it ran to .10 and settled where it has now. You know what?...Tape painting didn't mean a damned thing then, and it doesn't mean a damned thing now.
