Recently learned that MBA students are told by the professor to rely on the book The Little Book That Beats the Market by Joel Greenblatt for financial class term paper stock selection. I went through the class notes, they want the students to compare the results with industry sectors and indexes with various fundamental analysis criteria.

Instead I looked at today's top50 list from magicformula.com and found the best chart using technical analysis, which is this one. I found lots of bad picks in the magicformula.com stock list so it is no panacea to these MBA students thinking they're going to get rich off it. It might hint at where some money is going though. Using the website alone is like playing minesweeper. Things that make you go hmmm...
