The term of this Lease of Equipment shall be for a period of six (6) months (the "Initial Term"), commencing on the date of installation of the Equipment, estimated to be on a date no later than March 1st, 2014. On sixty (60) days' written notice prior to the expiration of the Initial Term, TransCanada shall have an option to extend the Lease for an additional eighty-four (84) months ("Extended Term"),

Let's say that TC planned a long time ago to move the AOT to another Colder place as said in Pandavoine post.
In July15, TC determined that they needed 4 months testing for each point and not 6 months. Exactly same amount than in KM lease contract release at same time.
They were pressed to do so also to meet a deadline regarding the move to the colder place.

The current contract of 6 months would not do it because 4 + 4 + transfer time > 6 months; the extension of lease to 84 months would not do it either; so they terminated the lease to make it 4 months ending October15.

So logical step is another contract for 4 months OR they changed their mind, and this AOT will be included in a bigger order.
In this case, the shortening from 6 months to 4 months was maybe due to budgeting deadline for 2015 investments.

As per Alkaline post, TC cannot be in default so they made a new agreement on October15, and therefore they have 4 days to publicize the 8K.
Which takes us to Sunday19October...

just a possible scenario imho
