It was a stunt. As someone else pointed out, the AS can (and will) go right back up again.

Joel has no mining operations, and no processing operations, now that ADEQ is aware of Joel's illegal activities. And, he has been booted off the Keystone property - LMAO.....! Apparently, not paying the lease irritated the landlord.

I wouldn't be surprised to see some legal actions taken to recover lease payments, and damages for the mess that Joel left behind (the "chipped" hillside).
