TG was once upon a time selling shares of Paychex at 10 cents a share and borrowing money to keep the thing afloat...it took years for his very successful company to stabilize financially...he brilliantly tapped an underserved market with services that already existed and went after a specific segment with those services...it was well timed but it took a very long time...
Some day we are all going to look back at the time when Torvec struggled with capital and how long it took to shift the thinking of an industry stuck in it's own way and how long it took to sign the first deal, much like you can look at many successful public companies, Paychex included...
In my opionion, the biggest mistakes, the mistakes I am most critical of, made by Torvec, were in trying to turn over the management of the company to outsiders.....it appears that more has happened behind the scenes during the last several months with the current management team, than at any time in the history of the company, by a long shot...I support that progress
