My opinion is the most likely is either their marketing capabilities are woefully inadequate (basically waiting to be discovered) within a risk adverse industry which has a massive stockpile already (China mainly), or their cost structure is too demanding for an untested product. From a technical side their product can be extremely groundbreaking but if you cant sell it, its not going anywhere.
I would suggest to them making a sweetheart deal first to get these things in production for a certain number of batches until they are proven. That or do whatever it takes to get that Australian facility up and running and get some real production going. This needs to be on the market!
