Comments on the idiotic interview by Cnbc today of Mr Fink, Ch and CEO of Blackrock today?
He said he didn't think AIG had a case, nor did FnF. I say idiotic because he then said the government essentially put FnF in Receivership, not conservatorship and that everyone realized that at the time. He disregarded shareholder revisionists who wanted to rewrite history and claim solvency years later. It would have been easy for the government to call it receivership. I dare say more people are familiar with receivership over conservatorship. Sure can't change what it was today, after the fact. He ended by praising Geithner, Paulson and others for the fine job they did.
