We can approximate how much acreage has been planted. So far they have been planting nurseries for their MOUs. They tend to be about 5 acres or smaller. Exceptions are the 22 acres planted in Imperial Valley and a little under 30 acres planted in Nicaragua. Mr. Irshad was supposed to have planted a 100 acre plantation by now, but there has been no confirmation of this and it probably has not happened. Tibbar may have expanded beyond the initial 5 acres. Regardless, Tibbar has stated that it will begin their 1.500 acre plantation development on Jan 1. We also know the target acreage for some of the other MOUs or can guess based on the size of their proposed Power Plants or how much tonnage they are trying to achieve.

The bottom line is that so far not much acreage has been planted, unless you believe there are secret plantations out there which some pumpers would have you believe. VSPC will likely have 2,00-3,000 acres planted in 2015 unless one of the MOUs not heard from in a while steps up to the plate unexpectedly. Beyond this it is difficult to forecast because there are too few strong commitments and too many unknowns in regards to timelines and the ability of VSPC's "partners" to sell in to their target customers.
