I bought TVIX in march/2014 when the Dow was slightly over 16k and VIX was at 16. VIX is at 28 now and TVIX is worth only 5.80 now. Even if we see an epic collapse in the market (which will be hard to achieve w/0% interest rates) I will make some money on it but nothing to write home about.
