Why blame the guys mining? If anything blame the geologist and or the mine manager for the mishaps with the raises. Certainly don't blame the miners that are just following someone else's plan. All this talk about depressed gold prices is ridiculous, gold is doing just fine.

All that aside it still starts at the top. Do you really think that the mining team wanted to stop one raise away from supposedly rich virgin ground? You can't effectively run a mine without cash flow. You can't create sustainable cash flow from toxic financing. As many have stated here the company has other properties, the plan should have been to sell off or parlay those properties to fund the one viable operation that had current traction.

Instead the CEO got in bed with toxic lenders and sold out common shareholders and then gave up on the five yard line. There's no reason to compare this operation to any other operation.

I'll have more on this later in response to Spanky but place the blame where it belongs, with an incompetent CEO.
