Considering the conducive commodity pricing environment for streaming agreements, demonstrated by the flurry of activity by its competitors, and the state of its finances, Silver Wheaton is in a favorable position for the acquisition of additional streaming deals. The company’s management has indicated this in its Q2 earnings conference call. It has also indicated that the company is pursuing potential new deals. It could just be a matter of time before Silver Wheaton announces the acquisition of a new precious metal stream. Perhaps the company is waiting for the right opportunity.
