Walmart comment.
I worked for a company that had a product we thought would be perfect for Cosco. It was an educational product doing about 3M in the school market and we had a home version. We had a great "in" to get the product in front of the right people in their office in Washington state.. We went to their stores, looked at their other educational stuff and thought we had a perfect fit.

Our "in" actually got the right people to look at it. The first thing they said was that the price point was too high and this is what it would be on their shelves for and this is about what we could give you for it. We would have had to sell a gazillion units to make it worthwhile. AND it might have killed our school business.

Getting a brand new product into Walmart? Good luck with that. Maybe not impossible but about as tough a business "thing" as you can get.

Everytime I hear a penny company say they are getting into Walmart I just laugh..
