Yak, disinfectants like Lysol are meant to be
sprayed in the air. Hand & Body Sanitizers are
to be applied directly to the skin and not for
spraying in the air. Lysol and Chlorox appear
to be excellent surface disinfectants, read
their labels first. But they are a poison to the
body and should not be applied to the body directly
on a regular basis (except in emergencies).
Gasoline is an excellent disinfectant, but
you would not pore it on your body to kill
viruses or germs.
This is the problem and complexity with
the Ebola issue; people are not well informed
and sometimes falsely believe one is for
the other use which it is not. It appears
that is what the CEO of BMCS was trying
to educate people about falsely believing
alcohol gels provide virus protection when
alcohol gels do not provide viral protection.
