I have no way of knowing for sure if today's selling was just retail or if it was noteholders..but one possible answer to your question is that since there are discounted convertible notes in play here and when these kinds of conversions do take place, they receive their shares immediately at a discount to the market and thus can sell immediately without taking a loss regardless of the depressed price. With that said, this represents an opportunity for investors if they buy those shares and end up being correct about the longer term prospects of the stock... i.e if the stock can return to $20 million market cap then even if the o/s doubles from what it was in the last filing, then the SP would STILL be over $0.10...
