If you want to go back that far, both last name Murphy and Charney is originally from Ireland. They moved to Canada in 19 century.

I read some article about Glenn Murphy in Jewish business website. GAP founder is also Jewish. So it actually doesn't matter even if Murphy is not Jewish.

You may be right idk. I will post it when I found it again. But at least they are both Canadian ex-pat Buddies in fashion industry in the States.

And I just thought it's kinda funny if these two work together :)
