This is not Facebook or Apple. This is the oilfield. Let's compare apples to apples. Name a major player in the industry with a CEO who has never worked in the field? Name a major who has the CEO, CFO, and every other C-suite title under his name? Name another major who's CEO is affiliated with some kinda bootleg tech startup/or has been in the past? He is a hustler, he put it together. Good for him. He is not a manager or leader.
