Neo43 "vaccine using synDNA is at least 2 and probably 3 or more years away." I would give you a cigar of your choosing but the internet prevents me from handing it to you. As far as I know you are 100% correct. (smile)
If someone could develope a vaccine albeit a synthetic DNA vaccine faster than 2 to 3 years that would be quite an accomplishment. A 2 to 3 year time table is pushing it. For instance GSK may have something in the works in another 3 to 4 years and that is conservative according to my sources.
There is one factor I keep mentioning that is speculation on my part but could come to fruition. GE has known of Cytogenix synDNA for at least a year now as well as Aldevron. My speculation is that a DNA vaccine is already being worked on and has been for a while. If so that in itself could cut the time table by quite a bit. Lastly the thing that intrigues me about CYGX synDNA and expression technology is from one of the PRs in which it was stated that "they" hope to cut the time it takes to develope a vaccine. How much time I cannot recall. If I am wrong I apologize. I do not have the particular PR in front of me nor can I remember which one it was from.
