EZ part is that an algorithm simply directs p/s distribution amounts to any stock account or registered shareholder holding a CUSIP.....................THE CUSIP #.

I would prefer it to work like that, but it doesn't always work like that, for example the Washington Mutual Liquidating Trust (http://www.wmitrust.com/WMITrust) is sending checks to make some payments, yep checks sent by ordinary mail and some trouble is comming from there (for example I received yesterday my 08/01/2014 cash payment, and I had to claim /fight hard to get it)

That's why I'm concerned about who/where to contact in case something goes wrong, my broker/bank yep , I know; but I mean in the root of the chain,
the checks / whatever sending guy / juridic person
