I'm not super concerned about his "technical expertise" as a miner. Most CEO's know d*ck about the technical processes at the ground floor. Ask any engineer, technician, scientist, or otherwise. He'll I'd be surprised if Alan Mullally could change a tire and I wouldn't want him on the assembly line wrenching on a Mustang chassis. His job is to manage the company's direction and put the right people in place, as is Joel's. Thus far Joel seems to be steering the ship in the right direction with good intentions. He's made a few mistakes, he's no veteran miner, and I think that's what annoys some people who are hoping to see him fail. I truly believe that jealousy drives most of Joel's critics. Let's just see what the guy can do.
