True ionic/colloidal silver should be clear, not yellow or brown. Larger particles (agglomeration of smaller particles) turns the solution a darker color. The smaller the particles (nano sized) the better. Ions are charged and in order for silver to work the particles must be charged (silver ions carry a positive charge). Bacteria, virus are mostly negatively charged. A good solution would be 80% ionic and 20% particulate. Silver particles will become ions in the presence of stomach acids but absorbtion is best achieved in mucous membranes (like the mouth). Your set up makes mostly colloidal silver by the looks of it. It's crude but will work. You have less ions and more particles. Make sure you use ONLY .999 fine silver (or better) and distilled water (no tap water) NOTHING ELSE. No baking soda, no salt. Additives like these make silver chloride... useless for germs and harmful in large quantities. This type of silver can cause argyria, turning the skin grey. Commercial rigs to make silver (Silver Puppy and others) are worth it because they use magnetic stirrers and make clear solutions of ions/particles.
