As far as luck is concerned...If Abloc is half as good as the proponents say, luck has not been in our favor for some time: the stock price, the precarious cash position, the JW circus act, The FDA threats and actions, etc.. All this with favorable, albeit not as credible or rigorous, scientific studies. Regardless of whether Abloc is effective or not, timing is an extremely critical aspect of an investment. That is where luck comes in. I'm looking/hoping for it to shift a little, even though there are no signs yet (Mullen's appt had that potential, but it hasn't materialized at all). But then again, it usually doesn't enter with a sign. Nor does it mean never looking back because 'it's going to the moon'. There will be more debt, more dilution, more option grants (probably in excess), and more regulatory hurdles and setbacks to deal with...perpetually.

Biotech message boards are saturated with pollyannaish commentary. Can't we, as a board, aspire to a higher standard?
