This all happened behing the extreamely large frauds case back in 80s if my recall is correctly in the right time frame, it could of been the latter part of the 1970s. The scope of that case rocked the Canadians minerals market and as such crippled the American Jrs exp markets. SEC put in place that any statment which was going to be released to boost the companies PPs was a nono. Thus some of the strictest legalease by the sec on both sides of the border to this day. No Jr worth a cent will doublecross the line.
At one time in my life i was a contract negotiator with Hotels bidding on entire products for interior furnishings, virtually everything that would set the decor of the desired aura to be presented to the image of the Hotel chain. Virtually the entire rooms finishings. Prior to making an aggrement to being the "man", non-disclose deals were made these were gentelmans aggrements. My job was to get the best price at the best merchandise, which was always doable thru negotiations.
