Ali G, I have an AG background. Granted, I am not a hemp grower. However, I know that Stalk/stem, refers to the entire plant that can be harvested. In the last video update that was released, I think I remember the narrator saying that seeds had formed up and down the length of most stalks. I don't know if the seeds are too delicate to thresh. I know they are not hard, like ripened wheat, corn, or dried soy beans. Anyway, I do know the entire hemp plant can be utilized, commercially. But, the oil is processed from the seeds, not the stalks, themselves.
