Unfortunately (per the article), the area is a bit of a ghost town. This would make setting up even the basic infrastructure (due to the lack of viable resources and even basic commodities) required to build pyrolysis plant incredibly expensive. Additionally, shipping those tires to the U.S./Canada just wouldn't be profitable. Great thought though!
