Mildtrans, my thoughts are similar to yours.

O&G exploration in Russia is fragmented, vastly untapped and it's literally "wild wild west". In order to take advantage of tremendous opportunities, you must have competent local management and connections that can massage the goverment officials to get permits and reduce red tape. Russia has vast oil and gas deposits. I am sure majority of its reserves are not even discovered because of its huge land mass.

Russian oil and gas deposits will be explored in a major way before you know it because its proximity to some of the world's biggest oil and gas consumers, namely China, Japan and Korea.

What this all means is that NDOL has big leg up on the competition with its Russian management. Having revenue generating storage and transportation business is big plus. NDOL has all the pieces to prosper as a oil and gas company.

Sure, right now there is big speculation due to some unknown buyout offer, but one must counterbalance that with the underlying company prospect. NDOL is a strong buy here based their current revenue and future revenue projections, proven and probable reserves, and the Russian management.
