I think what ticks me off the most, is that even with a great product, lack of execution in the business will inevitably guarantee failure. Without knowing management on a personal level (their level of integrity, honesty, business acumen, etc.) how is one to conduct DD on this one variable that seems absolutely critical to success? I thought I had done a good amount of DD on the products (verified that they were in stores, compared to other products, had friends and family try the drinks for unbiased opinions, etc.) and felt fairly confident that success would be forthcoming, but management has failed on almost every prediction made and the stock with it. So frustrating!
