Have no idea where you got that from. Mr Lenfest obviously doesn't pay full price. The cheaper the shares the cheaper it will be for him to go private, no reason not to. Once he has 100 percent control he sells for whatever he can, any loss is a tax deduction, any gain is all in his pocket to give away later. Can't fault someone for doing that. Good business sense there. And if he doesn't want to go through the privatization process, easy enough to put up for sale, market price.
