These guys continue to accumulate through buy programs.
Market Makers naked shorted Banro into the index rebalancing, and created the 26 million short selling pressure that manipulated Banro from .45 to .15, where they covered their short with the Index 26 million share sale.
Now they have Banro trading in a perceived "Danger Zone" where many stocks trade right before they die. This causes short term Banro investors to panic, sellout, allow stop losses to trigger, and makes them think twice about buying more.
American investors have to pay uncle sam, and if they are 100% in Banro, then they will be selling Banro shares at .15 to cover tax bills.
Gold is teetering on an emotional 1200 level, and everyone and their brother is expecting gold to fall into 1100's next.
This keeps Banro buyers on the side lines, and allows Market makers to apply negative bias to Banro stock trades, while allowing institutional buy programs to continue accumulating.
Management, who works for these large stock holding insitutions (ever heard of Blackrock? owns 45%+ all Banro common shares) is keeping a lid on any positive press, until the Accumulation is complete.
When does the stock move up? Well once all the sellers of Banro dry up from panic selling / tax selling / stop losses / etc.....there really are no more buyers, and insitutions have bought up nearly all the common shares that they can.
Then a phone call is made to Banro to "Release the Kraken".
Now the Financing (that could have been completed a month ago, that has been sitting on somebody's desk for months) is announced, in the After market just after a close of anywhere from .10 up to .25 (depending on where stock goes while we wait.)
And when that news hits the wire, we gap up back to .45 to .50, and suddenly, everyone will be in love with Banro.
Management starts pooping out wonderful smelling releases.
Analysts will get the green light from their banker bosses to write up one love story after another about Banro.
And we will have the making of the next Mid Major Minor in the world.
