1. "Overlook" is too generous. There was the selective use of HERA statutes to lessen or blank out all other statutes and opposing legal arguments that questioned or challenged Judge Lamberth's view of the "uncontested authority" of the FHFA.

2. Application of the law in legal rulings by a federal judge depends on personal and background factors that can leading to differing interpretations of the law that may be correct or in error. Lamberth shoots from the hip and is a known legal maverick with cases overturned in the Court of Appeals.
