Make no mistake, IMO the partnership that SK is talking about is also dilution. He wants a partner who basically is all in on everything supporting a broad spectrum of trials and IP. I tend to agree as it would be difficult to divide up unless done regionally.

That being said, I have no problem diluting the company by way of a partner. Not only do we get development funds, validation, but we also reduce our risk immensely.

Right now, if there is one more hiccup we are toast. If we had a partner we would have money in the bank (real money) and someone to absorb some of the hit if we did have a hiccup. Also, with a partner we would be less apt to have a hiccup.

Sometimes it pays to be a little less greedy. On the other hand, maybe it is the would-be partners who are being greedy.

My guess is that the gap between pphm and would-be partners is just too great at this point. There is not quite enough proof for BPs to give us our price yet pphm believes in the science enough that they won't settle for less.

If I am the BP why would I pay $10B without solid evidence when I can afford to pay $20B when definite proof is in. Not worth the gamble.
