We are on to their scam up here in Taylor County. What may work on a very small scale in a lab presents many problems when a process is "scaled up" on a commercial basis. the process hasn't been proven anywhere except on a very small scale. S Glenn Farris attempted a similar process and found the syngas was too dirty to use. Chemistry will prove that you can't make urea nitrogen pellets from gasified wood on a commercial scale. yes, it sounds good, but it's not economically feasible. And there's not enough waste wood in North Florida to fuel such a thing. When natural gas was very high, it may have had more traction, but it still wouldn't work. Gases yes, pellets - no.
Energy stock traders have found the ticket to riches in subsidies, grants, gullible poor communities and their non-questioning development authorities, but it ain't gonna happen in Taylor County. We won't let them come in up here and steal from us. they've got their $5 million, and that's all they are gonna steal up here. Our city commissioners and county commissioners and dev authority deserve a butt switching with good peach tree switches for falling for this scam in the first place. They screwed up and were snookered. But they are finally beginning to understand that crooks are ready to take advantage of those who don't ask the right questions.
