alynnb... It amazes me that you/people keep thinking that cc is investing in gzfx... GZFX IS A VENDOR ...
gzfx went to cc, bid for a chance to offer a venue to CC .. gzfx said.. heres a boatload of cash, please let us have a few feet in store, and pay to get on 1/100th of your webpage...
Partnering is a market term for paid promotion by a secondary company... nothing more. gzfx could be a company selling cd cases. CC couldn't care less what they do, as long as they pay CC. If gzfx actually started to make money, CC would raise the rent and rewrite the terms for more of the profit.
Gzfx is a little bug on a shelf, It couldn't make a dent in CC's reputation if it wanted to. The one thing gzfx is doing right is making itself look much bigger than it is. But it's still not national, That's obviously why the attempt to embed with CC ... a national chain. There is nothing in gzfx that says extraordinary management, quite the opposite, I see them following netflix too closely for my comfort.
I like the fact the company is trying to stay in the techno trend but gzfx did it the easy way and is using our nickle with all the stock issues, instead of real income from the product. And does it make you feel good that the officers keep paying themselves multi 100g salaries plus 150 million stock medical benefits programs instead of company plans.?
