With reference to your question about the price of the currently-operating “pilot” reactor, You are correct in that $75K is the total value written off, but depreciation methods often are legally required to include a reasonable “scrap” value at the end.
If Texans are allowed to claim zero residual value at the end of the 10 years, then $75K is it. But if a $20K scrap value remains, this should be added to the cost estimate. (10 X $7.5K + $20K = $95K).

Either figure seems reasonable to me. I expect the big machine to be roughly half a million, installed.

It is easy to lose sight of the AMAZING value these machines can produce. At 25 grams X $1K/hour, the “pilot” will pay for itself every 4 hours of production. (!) Project those number up sixteen-fold (250/4000)and we are talking SERIOUS cash flow next year!)

Can I be like Rachel Maddow and repeat myself? the “pilot” will (is now) paying for itself every 4 “production”hours. (!)

Now THAT’S an investment! YEAH, BABY! Let’s buy a bigger one quick!

Also, Lets all look at the tremendous accomplishments and acts of progress that has happened last year.

500 days ago at the Dallas meeting, this company was basically operating out of a suitcase in a hotel room. I made it my major point then that in order for the enterprise to succeed, it had to have a “locus of manifestation” or, physical presence in the world. In modern words, a place “where the magic happens.”

And now, today, we have achieved this wonderful new facility in Austin up and operating and now generating samples for a growing customer base: a place where the personal interactions that engender ideas and development can occur, as well as a point of Creation: where the much needed tangible-benefit-to-the-world that our products represent can enter reality.

I am very gratified Quantum Materials Corporation is now extant.

The tripling of the share price earlier this year whet our appetites for more, and it is easy to become anxious about our investment bearing fruit. But let just all look a moment at what happened in fiscal 2014 for reassurance in our shared future.

Congratulations to all !

My future is so bright I ‘gotta wear a welder’s helmet!
