I am also long and am also quite confident that the deal will be consummated and that Zenabis will get licensing. This bashing of the PPS is mostly unwarranted...wish I had more powder to buy more.

I've spoken with Medican's "investor relations" a few times, last time being last Friday. (Guy named John...nice Canadian guy) He indicated that the deal is still going forward and that the initial plan was to wait until Zenabis was licensed to announce everything. That could still take a little while. He also mentioned that Medican is looking into US operations in Colorado and Washington and that we should receive a PR this week.

Hopefully this is all on the up and up and John isn't someone reading off a script...but there still is nothing to indicate that things aren't going exactly as planned. In a fledgling industry, things will take time, especially when working internationally.
