And I agree with RVD that the use of tiny sells to influence the price downward is just as reprehensible and amateurish as attempts to close the stock artificially higher.......and I should have made that clear in my post also.
I can't believe that 4 share trade was for real. Surely that was a typo of some sort? Can anyone actually trade ~14 cents worth of any stock?
With the influx of savvy new investors discovering CAPC and congratulating themselves at length on their perspicacity in uncovering such a hidden gem, I have been content to sit on the sideline and observe; sometimes in admiration ........sometimes in shock and awe........and sometimes just ROTFLMAO. But now that they have had a chance to experience the thunderclap of reality accompanying the recent meltdown from unrealistic and premature expectations, perhaps the time is right to re-examine the stock, warts and all.
The handwriting was on the press release when Wallach posted his CYA message in front of second quarter earnings. While members of "the choir" knew that the results were going to be less than stellar (yeah, I know, a new record and all that) the presumption was that outsiders who are not privy to the wisdom imparted by this board would also simply view this as a slight pause on the path to greatness. Unfortunately what outsider saw, in cold hard numbers, was a stock that had an excellent 1st quarter only to fall on its face in the second; so they grabbed some profits and fled.
We've got another six weeks before 3rd quarter earnings will be announce and frankly, I'm not as optimistic about those as I once was. In the meanwhile I see nothing to really keep CAPC from drifting at thi.s level, and lower, during that period. And let's just hope that we're not then disappointed by another mysterious disappearance of a touted backlog.
So my advice presently would be to hunker down, ride it out and "Just Wait'll Next Year!".
Now ain't y'all glad I'm baaaaack?
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident. - Arthur Schopenhauer (1788-1860)
