Good question! That would appear to be the rationale behind the separate units. For example: NantOmics discovers how the drug needs to work. NantBioscience debvelops the drug. NantCell devises how to deliver the drug. NantTronics gathers the data. NantCloud disperses the data back to physicians. NantHealth oversees how Physicians, insurance companies and the federal government employ the data to achieve the desired results. Their specific contractual responsibilities and the need for ownership of certain things, such as IP, necessitates division amongst the units.

BUT! An even better question arises. You're right! No NantPharma!
