Here is something I have noticed since my involvement in penny stocks to add into your thinking: I have seen multiple stocks that whenever an 8k is released indicating new shares in the market, there are those elements of retail that watch L2 very carefully, then when the dilutive MM shows up they dump in bulk on the bid ahead of dilutive MM's, driving share price down and buying back in at a lower bid, repeating this process over multiple days until the new supply of shares have dried up. IMO, and as I look back on these events when actual short interest data becomes available as required by FINRA Rule 4560, this effort is undertaken by those who are trying to leverage a profit margin into their short interest position (possibly through multiple accounts or as a coordinated effort between a couple of traders), and is exacerbated when the stop losses of the unsuspecting are tripped by this artificial down pressure on share price. Now we may also be seeing the snowballing effects of this as those who were long in their position capitulate to bearish rhetoric and sentiment and commit themselves to loss selling...adding to the profit margin of those few shrewd manipulators who have held a short interest position during the leverage activity that has created the greater down pressure on share price.
Buying pressure is the only thing that offsets the activity I've described above. It is fortunate that we have had some buying pressure increase since the picture of the chunky and coarse gold from the South Terrace was posted, giving good reason to be optimistic.

This described activity seems to be indicated here when Spanky gives the share structure and then commentates:
"Up 2.3M since 9-19 as stated in the most recent 8K was issued.

27.7M shares traded so far this week."

Thus IMO there are multiple dynamics at work in today's market, beyond those that you describe. Of course, we all understand that gold produced in bulk is the greatest good that NBRI can do for shareholders that have committed their resources to the effort of NBRI. Hopefully we see just that here and soon, and the South Terrace could provide just that.
