"Does a CEO OF A REAL COMPANY make huge promises that aren't kept?"
Yes. Every single day.
So-called durable goods are cheaply made, overpriced, and many times do not work as advertised. Once you buy it, you are stuck with it.
Companies put out software that is buggy, doesn't work as advertised, and many times charge you for the "update" to fix it.
Customer service?? OK. "Your call is important to us. Please stay on the line for the next available representative. You are number 102 on the list. Your waiting time is estimated as 2 hours 30 minutes."
The list goes on and on. So YES, again. Every single day.
The holy-er than though statement regarding "REAL COMPANY" doesn't fly with me. Sorry to say quality and ethics are a thing of the past for most businesses. It's ALL about the bottom line first, and EVERYTHING else second. IMHO of course.
Myecheck has definitely made some PR blunders regarding the Apps, but it is entirely possible that these were honest attempts to communicate with shareholders in an open way, but circumstances beyond their control have stepped in to change the timeline of events. IMHO again.
