Error code #429 & Microsoft Security Update KB911562

Myst,
Downloading and installing Microsoft security update
KB911562 (deals with Data Access Components v2.8)
caused Error code #429 & loss of data updates.
The fix mentioned above, to correct the registry, does not seem to resolve it.

There is no way to uninstall the security update so my eventual
solution was to recreate the system from a backup and
avoid installing the KB911562 update (WIN98se).
XDEV is working fine at this point.

More people will probably be seeing the same problem
eventually.

Let us know if/when you guys are able to interface XDEV with
the MS update.
