I don't know who bought the GDXJ shares. They were sold about 10% below the current market value so there is a chance they were purchased by an actual MM. Given BAA's recent volume explosion I could see a MM want to get in on the action. BAA hasn't had to deal with MM's much because institutions were providing all the liquidity the market demands. That is a total guess but the longer we go without seeing an SC-13g the more likely it is to have occurred.
